On Friday, May 22nd, Conyers rocked the house again when friends and family from near and far came together for the “3rd Annual Georgia Jam.”  This event is held every year as a way to raise money for the Conyers GSF Foundation and is always a ton of fun! Nowhere else can you experience such a variety of music, from The Drifters and Chuck Berry to Lynard Skynard and the Rolling Stones, all performed by GSF associates and friends.

Partygoers paid $10 for admission to the event with the option of purchasing a commemorative t-shirt for $5.00.  Once inside, they were treated to a pizza buffet courtesy of Johnny’s New York Style Pizza, a favorite local pizzeria.

Throughout the evening, money was raised each time someone purchased a “Jamorita” or a “Jam Slam,’ signature drinks provided for by the host club, Club 908. A 50/50 raffle topped off the evening, raising even more money, with half the pot benefiting the GSF Foundation and the other half going to one lucky winner.

Conyers theme over the last few years has been “One Conyers,” and never has that been more evident than on this night, as everyone came together in an effort to raise awareness of the GSF Foundation and to build camaraderie among our associates, friends, and families.
