GSF recently donated two new cook tops to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) New Zealand’s New Domain House Kitchen for Kiwi guests to utilize when cooking for their families. With multiple families staying in the house each year, these new cook tops are a wonderful addition and are sure to make the cooking process much easier and more enjoyable.
“The cook tops are already making a difference to the house and our families. The time to boil water and cook food has been dramatically reduced and we really appreciate it,” said Kate Barrett, Regional Fundraising Manager (North) at RMHC New Zealand.
RMHC New Zealand is focused on providing programs to support and strengthen Kiwi families throughout their children’s medical journeys. The RMHC works alongside families to ensure that they are well taken care of and have a safe space to cope with everything that they are experiencing during their difficult time, and in return, this equips families to help their children heal more quickly. RMHC also understands that there are numerous burdens that families carry throughout their child’s medical journey, including practical, emotional and financial. They are there to lessen those burdens by providing free accommodation and support programs. The goal is to ensure that families can stay strong and come together during this difficult time.
“I would like to thank GSF so much for everything they have done for the Ronald McDonald House,” said Barrett. “Supporters like GSF are at the heart of this organization and we would not be able to provide such good support and care for our families if it wasn’t for compassionate people like you.”
